Order Cancellation & Termination Policy

At Goldland Merchants Limited, all sales of gold and silver products are based on live global market prices, which change frequently and are outside of our control. Because of this, once an order is placed, there is no statutory right to cancel under the Financial Services (Distance Marketing) Regulations 2004.

However, customers may request to terminate an order prior to dispatch or collection. This is treated as a use of our termination service and will incur charges. If termination is accepted, you will be responsible for:

  • Any fall in the underlying gold or silver price between the time the order was placed and the time of termination.
  • A termination fee.
  • Any related costs, such as delivery fees (if applicable).

Risk Notice

Precious metals are subject to market fluctuations beyond our control. Past performance of gold and silver prices does not guarantee or indicate future value.


Cancellation Rights

You do not have the right to cancel an order simply because you change your mind. Termination requests are only possible under our termination service (see above), and additional fees will apply.


Termination by Customer

You may request to terminate your order before dispatch or collection. This will only take effect once confirmed by us in writing or verbally. Beyond this, termination is only possible if Goldland Merchants Limited materially breaches its obligations to you.


Termination by Us

If there is a material issue (such as a default, breach, or uncontrollable circumstance), we reserve the right to terminate an order or contract. We will always try to remedy the situation before taking such action.


Consequences of Termination

If termination occurs (by you or us), the following will apply:

  1. You must cover any adverse market movement between the order date and termination acceptance.
  2. A termination fee will be charged.
  3. You may be liable for delivery or other service charges.
  4. All outstanding sums up to the termination date become payable immediately.
  5. Our obligations to complete the transaction will cease.

Termination does not release you or us from liabilities that arose before termination.


Our Remedies

Goldland Merchants Limited has the right to:

  • Suspend or cancel orders if details provided are incomplete, inaccurate, or if payments are overdue.
  • Request additional identification or account information.
  • Hold or withhold your property until outstanding payments are cleared.
  • Offset sums owed by you against sums owed to you.
  • Suspend access to services in case of breach, insolvency, or fraud suspicion.

Other Provisions

  • Insolvency: If insolvency occurs before you take legal ownership of your items, we may reclaim goods and refund payments where possible.
  • Unclaimed Funds: If we are unable to contact you after reasonable attempts, we reserve the right to liquidate your items and donate remaining funds (after fees) to charity.
  • Exclusion of Statutory Rights: Certain implied terms under UK law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted.
